The place is beautiful, spacious, well organised, the educators are all so lovely, friendly and love seeing the kids each day. Special mention to the Manager Alysha who does an amazing job at keeping everything running smoothly, she is great at communicating with the parents and put her heart into everything she does for the centre! The cook makes yummy food, it always smells so good when we walk in. I feel so at peace knowing my kids spend their dare there in such good hands. Buttercups Highgate was an unforgettable experience during my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care work placement. Before starting my placement, I was very nervous about whether I could be a good educator, as I had just finished my first term of the course. Luckily, I met a wonderful manager, Emily, who gave me a detailed tour of the centre and spent an hour with me on induction day explaining everything clearly and introducing me to all the staff. I was placed in the Kindy room (3–5 years), where I met adorable children who always welcomed me warmly and enjoyed the activities I planned. When they liked my craft setups, they would often ask to take their creations home—which I was always happy to say yes to! At the beginning of my placement, it was winter, and I had to take some sick days. I was worried about missing time, but the centre was very understanding. The manager helped me arrange make-up days, and she was supportive and positive about my efforts, which made me feel a strong sense of belonging. I still need to complete my next placement in the babies' room (under 2 years), and I would be more than happy to return to Buttercups Highgate. With love, SooJeong

My child absolutely adores all of the staff there and will always talk about them.

My 3 year old son absolutely loves going each day, he walks in with a smile and always so happy to see his little friends and his educators. The educators are so caring, patient and truly invested in my child's development. We've seen such amazing growth in his speech, confidence since starting. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing he's in such a safe and nurturing environment.

Our Granddaughter attends Buttercups Bassendean and they have been amazing. Starting in the toddlers and now in the kindy room her little self has just shined while she has been there. The educators relationships with Our Granddaughter are just amazing they took the time to really get to know her and she talks about them constantly too and all the fun things they have been doing throughout the day. The Mothers day afternoon tea was absolutely lovely to join with lots of great activities we could do with our little one happening, we have also attended incursions with the police and nurses. We are so glad this is the centre our family chose to attend so a big thankyou to the supportive team at buttercups bassendean 😊
