They’re goal-focused and create a safe, supportive environment where our child feels happy, empowered, has fun, and is encouraged to get on and play well with other children. We feel confident our child is in good hands.

The staff are warm and loving with my daughter, open and helpful to any transitions we make in her day and just generally very kind and professional. Everyone communicates really well and I always feel as though I know how my daughters day is going. She is comfortable with the educators to the point where she doesnt get upset at drop off which help the mum guilt a lot. As a breastfeeding mum, I also feel very supported in that journey. Great service! It really helps to know how well looked after my daughter is while I'm working.

We were quite apprehensive when our daughter started daycare as she had separation anxiety but Nasim and the staff made the transition a really positive experience. They allowed us to have drop in visits on many occasions for my daughter to acclimatise to the space and the educators. Once she started, at each drop off they offered her extra comforts and accommodated to her needs which we really appreciated. She is now so comfortable there! We like that it is a small centre where all the educators know every child. We love being able to see what they are doing throughout the day on the app, which is always something new and creative, and my daughter loves the food and often asks for extra servings! They have also been really accomodating when we needed to add extra causal days on top of our regular days. We have had a really positive experience at SDN and would recommend it to anyone.

We’re really happy with the care she’s getting.

My daughter has been attending for about 6 months now. She started when she was 1 and this is her first childcare centre.... My daughter has been attending for about 6 months now. She started when she was 1 and this is her first childcare centre. She has settled well as the educators are so lovely and caring. The director is kind and approachable. It completely puts us at ease that our precious one attends this centre. Thank you to all the staff, keep up the great work.

Our oldest son was at SDN North Sydney from 9 months old until we moved abroad when he was 3 years of age.... Our oldest son was at SDN North Sydney from 9 months old until we moved abroad when he was 3 years of age. Many of the educators from back then are now familiar faces looking after our youngest son, who is now in the toddler room. Both our boys have loved their time at SDN- there is a good mix of indoor and outdoor time, structured and unstructured activities and food that they seem to prefer to our meals! The educators have all been very caring and take a genuine interest in the kids’ development, with regular updates about development observations and plans formed as a result. They are also very professional, updating parents on the kids’ routines, toileting during the day and any bumps/falls etc. Nasim, the new centre director who joined while we were away, is a huge asset. She is extremely hard working, ensuring the smooth running of the centre behind the scenes, but also is a friendly greeting in the morning to make drop offs that bit easier. We’ve had an extremely positive experience with the centre and therefore would recommend it to anyone.

We were slightly concerned when there were a few director changes but that seems to have stabilised. The current director (Ms Nassim) is very involved and hands on which is always great to see.
