The educators particularly in nursery 1 (our exp) are AMAZING kind nurturing people who truely love being there and have supported my daughter’s needs. The director Rita does a fantastic job she knows all the kids and is always present and available for parents, I’ve seen her many times actually in with the babies and kids spending time with them/helping staff. Couldn’t be happier with the centre.

Every time I arrived I would be greeted by every educator. Every educator knew my daughter by name. They were great at communication. Always had photos and a story at the end of every day. My daughter developed some really special connections with her educators and other toddlers, I always felt confident leaving her in their care. It was so hard to leave but we moved so we had to, and I don't think I could find a centre that compares. We will miss you guys!!

I was nervous to send my child to daycare but he thrives in the environment created by the very capable and nurturing educators. Every educator takes the time to say good morning to him and know all his quirks that they fill me in on at pick up time! We are sad to be leaving the area but look forward to our kids restarting with RSK upon our return - I wouldn't want them going anywhere else!

My two kids, 4yrs and 1yrs recently moved to RSK from another centre and the Director and educators have been nothing short of amazing. They are all kind, patient and caring. My children have a few allergies and medical requirements and everyone has gone above and beyond to ensure my children are safe and always included. As my son’s diet is constricted due to his allergies which can make meals challenging but their onsite chef has been great in communicating with me, often having lots of suggestions and ideas for his meals. My children love going here and we couldn’t be happier!!

We had a very bad experience with the first childcare we chose, and we were incredibly lucky to find a spot at Rise and Shine Sylvania, which has even won the "Exceeding National Standards" award—it must be good! After attending, my husband and I quickly realized that what truly makes this center special is the people and a director who genuinely cares. The attention to detail and the willingness to accommodate parents’ culture-oriented requests (like using chopsticks in Asian culture) amaze me every time! The educators even use chopsticks to feed my daughter so that she will open her mouth—such a thoughtful effort that shows how much they care. I definitely feel that my daughter is loved by all the educators. The center keeps me well-informed about every aspect of my daughter’s day—whether she ate, drank milk, or even accidentally bumped herself. Every step of the way, I’ve felt reassured. After just three months (attending two days a week), my daughter settled in so well that she now wants to go to childcare because of her favorite aunties! I also feel there is always an open-door policy where I can easily ask questions or address any concerns. The willingness of the center to cater to each child’s unique behavior is over the moon! For Christmas, the educators at Nursery 1 even made cute Christmas gifts for my daughter and let us take home all the "artwork" she had done throughout the year. Although transitioning to a different room can be challenging due to new educators, the center made the process incredibly smooth. They also took my feedback into account to ensure a consistent level of care as she moved from Nursery 1. I love the structured team leader approach in each room, having a direct number to call, and the updates with photos—it truly puts my mind at ease as a first-time mum. There’s also a monthly calendar of activities organized by the center, which makes it fun for both the children and the parents. I couldn't recommend this center more!

The staff are incredibly devoted and make us feel like part of the family every single day. Miss Amanda, the centre director, is the perfect fit for this amazing team. She is professional, knowledgeable, and always prioritises what’s best for the children. Her leadership and genuine care shine through in every aspect of the centre. There’s no better feeling than knowing that when I drop off my little one, she’s in the most nurturing, loving, and educational environment imaginable. The team truly goes above and beyond to ensure the children are happy and thriving. The activities are exciting and engaging, and the food is absolutely delicious (according to the number of serves eaten daily on the app)—everything about the centre feels thoughtfully designed with the children’s best interests at heart. Even after moving to a new area with plenty of childcare centres nearby, we never considered leaving Rise and Shine Haberfield. They’ve truly earned our loyalty, and they’ll be stuck with us for the next four years!
