We recently attended the ELC playgroup at Mentone Girls’ Grammar and were very impressed with the beautiful learning environment and thoughtfully designed facilities. While we are currently considering the Junior School for our daughter in the future, it was wonderful to feel so welcomed by the ELC team during the playgroup visit. As a family with an Asian background, stepping into new social environments can sometimes feel a little uncertain—especially for our daughter, who is still gaining confidence in group settings. We were very grateful for the way Ms Bree Phelan led the story time and music session with warmth and calm encouragement. She welcomed all the children, created an inviting space, and gently acknowledged our daughter’s participation at the end of the session. That recognition meant a lot to us and helped build her confidence during her first visit. We look forward to attending more sessions and continuing to experience the respectful, inclusive atmosphere that supports every child as they grow at their own pace. Read more
