On his first day of orientation at Robert Cochrane my elder son declared the place "magical", and it truly is. It is a place made for Kinder kids, with wonderful Educators who get to know the children, their personalities and educational needs. The playgrounds are fun but challenging, and have benefited from a recent upgrade. The Educators build on the children's interests, while fostering social and emotional learning and development. My children have been taught ways to self regulate and embrace a growth mindset - skills that many adults are yet to master. We have loved the beautiful community at Robert Cochrane, and met families we now consider dear friends. If you are offered a place for your child at Robert Cochrane, my recommendation is to accept it and embrace all the Kinder has to offer. Read more

I'm posting anonymously to protect my identity. I sent my child to this kindergarten as I thought the kindergarten would be a good... I'm posting anonymously to protect my identity. I sent my child to this kindergarten as I thought the kindergarten would be a good environment as their website portrays that.. There were multiple red flags at this centre. Just to name a couple; one being the parents are not allowed to enter to assist the kids to put their bags away and there was no support whatsoever when my child was having a difficult time transitioning other then just leave and let them cry it out. Ive spoken to other parents at other kindergartens and have been told that there should have been more support there and they could have offered for a parent to come in until they felt adjusted. The caregiver Kylie is strict and you can tell she doesn't have any patience for children that don't listen. There were also some other red flags I won't mention, but I thought I'd share this in hope that this centre makes some positive changes. I'm not the only parent that has these concerns. Read more
