Green Leaves Early Learning Baldivis
Green Leaves Early Learning Baldivis Centre overview
Green Leaves Early Learning Baldivis is a double-storey centre with an eco-conscious design, offering care for children from 6 weeks to school age. The centre is open from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. Conveniently positioned between Nairn Drive and Safety Bay Road, our ample parking and centre entry can be accessed via Minden Lane. The centre is also only a short walk from Stockland Baldivis Shopping Centre.
Quality care is the focus at our centre. We offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including cooking, music, yoga and regular excursions. Sustainability is a key element of our learning program; the Educators utilise only high-quality, natural materials in the learning space.
Outside, the children love to play on the bike track, in the cubby house, or help out with the centre’s own veggie garden. For families, a complimentary coffee and baked treat in the family lounge is a relaxing way to start the day.

About the curriculum
About the curriculum
6 weeks - 12 months
Their passionate and experienced Educators work closely with families to ensure each baby’s routine is personalised to meet their individual needs. The children take part in activities within a stimulating learning environment. They enjoy group time during their music and movement program, or visits from special guests. Throughout the day, the babies enjoy taking part in songs and storytelling, sensory activities, and messy play in the garden. Under the guidance of their Educators, the babies enjoy their meals and snacks with their friends. During Nursery nap time, they are taken into the sleeping area where gentle music and a twinkling night sky encourages them to rest
2 years - 3 years
The Educators recognise that routines for toddlers are an important opportunity for learning. Performing daily, predictable tasks while having fun is a chance for toddlers to build their self-confidence, communication, and social skills and the ability to develop their self-control. The toddlers enjoy a daily rhythmic routine which assists them to transition between activities throughout the day. They take part in activities such as music, yoga, cooking, painting, drawing, singing and dancing, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) based activities, and the centre’s sustainability program. They also enjoy eating their meals and snacks with their friends and Educators.
4 years - 6 years
The Educators ensure the children’s environment is fun and inviting, encouraging quality play-based experiences to help them develop memory skills, language, and self-regulation, supporting the transition to school and academic learning later on in life. The children enjoy yoga, visits from special guests, and regular excursions to local parklands. Mealtimes are an opportunity for the children to enjoy social interactions with their friends and educators, as well as learn about body awareness and nutrition. Practicing independence, the children help to set up, serve, and clear away their dining area. Throughout the day, the Kindergarten children engage in activities that include literacy and numeracy games, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities to encourage children to think creatively and critically. Many of the children particularly enjoy the outdoor adventures around the bike track or expanding their green thumb knowledge, through cultivating the edible flower and vegetable gardens that provide countless hours of eco-education and fun.

I have 2 kids who attend since the centre opened & my youngest has moved up from toddlers through to kindy and not one transition did we feel like she wasnt welcomed in the rooms. My eldest spent his time in the kindy room before graduating for big school and now my youngest is in the kindy room for where we love our educators and how much she has learnt in her short time of being in the room. Its a very well taken care of centre with lovely staff. They have their own chef who makes amazing varieties of different foods each week for every season that we love. They also have extra outside activities that come into the centre that my kids adore and go on local excursions as well. Overall amazing centre and I wouldnt have my kids in any other daycare. It is a great daycare with a very nice infrastructure, at first my daughter was very happy in the daycare but then my daughter began to develop an attitude of rejection to go to daycare and she was beginning to communicate perfectly and overnight My daughter stopped talking, the therapist recommended that we take her out of daycare, there are many teachers who are very rough with the children and some teachers who have their children in the daycare in the same room where they have their 100% attention on their children and They do not pay attention to the rest of the children and that is why many incidents happen among the children where it could be prevented if there was better attention from the teachers, unfortunately my daughter had many naysayers in this daycare where the teachers told me that they did not know what happened and I asked the manager and she told me that the cameras do not work to verify, they do not have a methodology to control violent children and many times I saw more than 10 children in a classroom with only one teacher, the teachers do not have control of the children alone by placing television screens on them for many hours, my daughter once left the playground alone and entered reception alone, thank God I was in reception to prevent my daughter from going out into the street, my daughter was diagnosed with hyperlexia and every time I asked a teacher about hyperlexia, no one knew what the meaning of this diagnosis was. Being teachers with "certificates" my daughter lasted 1 year where we had very few good moments and many bad ones. Thank God we got a better place for her, and unfortunately my Daughter had a very bad time in summer, especially when it was over 38 degrees, the reception was quite cold and my daughter's living rooms were very hot, and a teacher who resigned from daycare confessed to me that more than once they locked my daughter in the classroom even though my daughter is not violent (this is not a teacher's methodology) and I saw the manager how abrupt she was with my daughter and I scolded her aggressively and when she saw me she got nervous and smiled at me as if nothing was happening. and I have not received any missed calls from the institute that want to talk about this issue, I tried to contact them before picking up my daughter from daycare but they did not seem interested, I am happy that my daughter is in a new daycare where I do not have any complain and she is very happy Read more
