Our 16 month old has been at WWCK since late May, this new centre is excellent and we’ve been equally impressed with the team of educators that Jasmine has engaged. Our baby has quickly grown to love his new educators, especially Shirley. Our information sharing / care instructions have been met with diligence from all team members and it is obvious the care they have for the children. The Steiner environment wasn’t a key deciding factor for us enrolling our children at WWCK but we’ve come to recognise what a nice and calm environment it is for children, fosters creativity, responsibility of useful life/home tasks and connection with nature. For added context our eldest child was enrolled at Jasmine’s kindergarten centre in Preston between 2022-2024, and it was fantastic for him there so we have a lot of faith in the way Jasmine leads her centre’s and the values she instills in the children and staff. She seems to find good people who are onboard with her way of doing things and staff retention was high. She fosters the building of community around the centre through regular gatherings and celebrations and we’ve made some great friends through kindergarten parents/kids of our eldest child. And performances by the children are always a highlight. If you’re looking for a new centre for your child, I’d 100% recommend Wonder World Childcare Kindergarten. Read more

My partner and I didn’t set out to find a Steiner inspired daycare, but when Wonder World put some information up around the corner from us in Thornbury about the new centre they were opening we were excited about what we read, and even more so when we looked at the information online and the reviews about their Preston centre. We’d been really disenchanted by the big brand centres when initially looking for care for our son and this seemed like it could be the right fit. We attended the Open Night a couple of months before the centre opened and when we met Jasmine and the Wonder World crew we could tell it was the right kind of different we were looking for. Our son’s been attending since the centre opened and we’ve been even happier with our experience than our hopeful expectations. They demonstrate a genuine connection with the children through a shared fascination and excitement for learning even from the simplest tasks. The educators cleverly use routine, song, and gratitude to steer the days events. They also operate with a calmness and mindful presence which we find soothing ourselves! While all the staff were fabulous during our son’s transition to care, Jasmine was particularly amazing with us in what can be challenging time for parents, too. There is also an amazing sense of community, fostered by the small numbers, regular educators and administrators and special events like the Easter picnic and upcoming Lantern Walk. Most importantly, our two and a half year old loves it so much he even asks to go on his days off. When he attended one of the big centres briefly we saw him really lose his spark, even at home. Wonder World has done the opposite for him - his confidence and love of life are even stronger. He’s loved there, and we feel connected to our village. Read more

Jasmine and her team have created a special place for toddlers and pre-schoolers. We really value the safe, healthy, and nurturing environment they provide at the centre. The educators are dedicated and caring, and the consistency of staff has allowed our child to build strong relationships quickly. Our child really enjoys the activities and play spaces – including the play equipment, garden and chicken coop. We feel so fortunate to have found a childcare and kindergarten that genuinely puts children’s wellbeing first. Read more
