About the curriculum
About the curriculum
The Nurseryland curriculum helps children develop effective thinking with “Learn through Play” care programs, delivered by skilled and thoughtful teachers and educators.
The curriculum focuses on helping children learn how to ask appropriate questions, recognise and apply relational concepts (such as cause, same, different), give reasons and examples, research and make connections and distinctions.
Delivered by highly qualified teachers and educators, the curriculum encourages children to socially interact, to explore and discover, and to challenge themselves. This helps children build the cognitive, social, physical and emotional skills needed for school, whilst also fostering creativity, confidence and self-expression.

Morning
Holly is 11 months old and this morning she has fun playing with a musical toy. She presses each button for a new sound, and laughs and claps along.
Lunch
After lunch with the group, it’s reading time. Holly picks a book with a caterpillar on the cover. She enjoys looking at the pictures as an educator reads with her, then settles down for her afternoon nap.
Afternoon
In the afternoon, the educators put out some pots of brightly coloured paint. Holly picks green and pink and paints a beautiful caterpillar.
Morning
When 3 year-old Tom arrives at the centre, he plays in the sandpit. He loves the feeling of the sand between his fingers, and he wants to make a big castle today.
Lunch
It’s a nice day, so Tom and his friends each have lunch outside under a shade sail. After lunch, they sometimes water the vegetable gardens, and today Tom is excited to be able to pick some carrots.
Afternoon
In the afternoon, Ben and his friends are learning about sustainability. They watch as the centre chef makes a cake with the carrots they picked, and they help put the scraps into a compost bin.
Morning
5-year-old Sally has been at the centre for the past 4 years and she arrives on the free shuttle bus each day. She loves writing her name and is practicing writing other words today, in preparation for big school next year.
Lunch
After lunch the group have a yoga lesson. Sally and her friends bend and stretch, and then they all lie down and listen to calm music.
Afternoon
The children have been learning about farm animals. After a story, Sally paints a picture of a lamb and a pig on beautiful, green grass.

I highly recommend Nurseryland Childcare Centre in Stafford for parents seeking an excellent centre for their children. Our centre is under new Management. I have been working in this centre for four years and find it amazing and fun. All the staff are happy, friendly, and passionate about children. We have a great team, and I love seeing all the children happy and progressing positively. We continuously work as a team. We also have a very approachable Director Miss Renee who is ready to listen to the staff's and parents' concerns. Every lead Educator plans exciting daily activities that suit children's interests and capabilities. Our centre offers a free bus to collect children in the morning and drop them off in the afternoon to aid working parents. Our Kindy bus drivers are professionals drivers with a Blue card and have enough knowledge in first aid. We also have a garden in which the children enjoy gardening daily, showing love to the plants and nature. Our children have the opportunity to water them and have a fantastic time harvesting the crops. "When Educators are happy, children are Happy." What are you waiting for? Book a tour now. Read more
