Lilydale Lakeside Children's Centre

Every member of the team at Lilydale Lakeside Children's Centre is dedicated to delivering the highest possible level of care and early learning for the children. 

The team of educators and teachers are qualified and experienced, and work collaboratively with families and each other to ensure programs are tailored to children’s individual needs, interests and strengths.

The team also takes opportunities to upskill and expand their knowledge of early learning at every opportunity.

The friendly team of educators and teachers at Lilydale Lakeside Children's Centre proudly partners with parents to ensure children receive the very best care.  

Parents are encouraged to speak with educators to help them understand the learning and emotional needs, abilities and interests of every child.

The team welcomes parents to sit in on activities, and to join cultural celebrations and other centre events.

The centre curriculum is developed in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which focuses on play-based, nature-inspired and holistic development. 

The EYLF helps children develop skills in literacy, numeracy, languages and creativity through play-based learning in a safe and secure environment. 

The curriculum is tailored to the age of the children. For infants and toddlers, the educators nurture cognitive and physical development as well as communication, emotional and social skills. 

The preschool curriculum includes structured activities, free time, incursions and excursions. Educators build on children’s knowledge of  literacy and numeracy and help foster crucial skills including problem-solving.
