Programs
Designed to be fun and engaging, the program at Taigum Child Edu-Care Centre helps the children to build their self-confidence and understand the world around them. The program makes the most of both the indoor and outdoor learning environments and incorporates a mix of child-led and educator-directed activities.
The Kindergarten Program, funded by the QLD government, helps to prepare the children for the transition to primary school. The educators follow the children’s interests and needs, planning activities that help to build their skills and challenge their thinking. The hands-on program is prepared in consultation with local schools to ensure the children are well-supported in their learning before school.
The centre also runs a sustainability program to provide opportunities for the children to connect with the natural environment in a meaningful way. The children learn to respect nature and the importance of caring for the planet. This program also supports their creative expression and wellbeing.

Byron and his peers do some painting in the afternoon. After their interest in racing cars, they encourage the children to try painting a car.

I have been sending my daughter for over a year and it has always been a positive experience. Each children's age group has their own seperate large play space and they are always doing fun activities. Low staff turnover and they are all so kind. They have a great menu for the kids and change it often so it introduces kids to lots of different foods. Highly recommend! Read more
