Support for families: the centre offers regular ‘date nights’ as a free service so parents can enjoy a ‘night off’. Events/information sessions are also held to help families meet others and learn more about parenting.
Home-like environment: the educators provide a homely feel within the centre, encouraging children to feel safe and secure. All of the design elements, play equipment, furniture and resources are natural colours and materials.
Community: children bake cupcakes for their local police, proudly display some of their artwork in the nearby park; they visit schools and aged care facilities, send them messages and make video calls; the centre set up a community library so that both families and locals can share books and resources.
Communication: the centre prides itself on its communication with families, both verbally and via ‘Daily Reflections’ which are emailed to families each day.
Highly experienced Founders: Paisley Park Founders Kat and Peter are actively involved in each of their centres, leading a team of passionate and experienced Educators to create the Paisley Park culture.

About the curriculum
About the curriculum
6 weeks – 12 months
Named after acclaimed natural scientist, Charles Darwin, who spent most of his life exploring the diversity of living things with particular interest in adaptation. Similarly, children of this age are curious and readily adjust as they transition to a new environment.
Parents can feel confident knowing that their Educators are there to guide them as they become increasingly curious about their world, introducing experiences and supporting them to explore new surroundings and establish new relationships with carers and friends.
1 year – 2 years
Famous for creating piano concertos and symphonies, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart spent most of his life mastering music that depicted charm and expressed humour, joy and sorrow. The exploration of such emotions is commonplace for children at this age as they begin to exercise their independence and socialise with like-minded friends.
This environment is full of sounds and textures, designed to complement children’s learning. Age-appropriate experiences and resources are provided to support children as they explore and meet developmental milestones.
2 years - 3 years
Thomas Edison rose from humble beginnings to develop technology and make his inventions widely available and useful. Invention is commonplace for children of this age as they become inquisitive and exploratory in their place.
Providing an abundant selection of resources within varied environments allows the imaginative creators to push boundaries and showcase their learning every minute of the day. Interacting with their peers teaches them social skills such as turn taking and making a friend.
3 years – 4 years
Remembered for his contributions to the art world, Pablo Picasso was a dynamic painter, sculptor, printmaker, and ceramicist who experimented with many art styles and themes in his long-lasting career.
Children in this room are encouraged to experience and push boundaries, using their intelligence and creativity. They are supported by their Educators to discover their incredible capacity to persist when challenged.
4 years – 5 years
Famous for his theory of relativity, Albert Einstein was a theoretical physicist whose intellectual achievements crowned him as the greatest genius who ever lived. Children of this age have rapid cognitive development and play becomes more complex. The children in this room want to try new experiences, seek to become self-reliant and want to become independent decision makers.
Educators support this energy and independence by providing experiences to challenge thinking and this includes participation within the School Preparation Program.

I believe a child’s first few years of learning are critical to their development, and that each day provides us with opportunity to support their continued learning and development.
Every child deserves the best start and my goal is to create a safe, caring, fun and inspirational environment for each child to grow, learn and explore. I value our relationships with our families and enjoy learning about the individual cultures that make up our community.

Went to the sensory activity and a potential look for my son but I was actually really disturbed by what I saw. and the kids who we’re actually attending the centre as daycare regulars were all stuffed into one tiny area and they were all at the gate visibly upset and crying and screaming and were left like that the entire hour that we were there. Two female educators were standing in the background the entire time completely uninterested, no comfort offered, no distractions, nothing. Those poor babies were so upset and just standing at the gate the entire time. It was super awful. Also, the sensory activity is super misleading and not advertised properly. It was basically a come play in our rooms while we advertise our services to you. Some paint in one corner isn’t really a sensory session. Read more

Our son has now been attending 3 days a week since October and he absolutely loves it! This is primarily down to the exceptional staff and small scale of the centre. Joel and Rhoida went above and beyond to settle him when he first joined and he's gone from strength to strength since moving up to the next class. The management are 100% dedicated and run the place like clock work. All staff seem very happy and there's been no changes to staff in our 7 month attendance. In addition to this, the day care runs once a month date nights with on the house babysitting, cooking classes and regular menu tastings. We're delighted he's so settled after a rough start at another centre. We all feel like members of a big happy family! Thank you to everyone at Paisley Park! Keep doing what you're doing! Read more

My daughter comes home and talks about all the educators and what she did that day, and my son get so excited when we walk up to the gate. Everyone always greets us with a smile, and the smell from the kitchen as you walk in is amazing. It feels so homely and I always know my children are cared for and learning a lot. Highly recommend to any family. Read more
