Welcome to Marsden Early Learning College - NOW OPEN!

A blend of academic excellence in a full-service long daycare setting has created Marsden Early Learning College that focuses on the social, emotional and physical development of its children -- from the infant stage right up until they go to school. This is an innovative centre offering an exciting new model of long day care and education for children from 0 to 5 years old. A team of degree-qualified teachers and skilled educators partner with families to provide tailored and holistic learning opportunities that help children prepare for school, and thrive.

Alongside the academic curriculum, this progressive centre offers a huge range of extra-curricular programmes including:

  • The Five Senses Course: environment, health/safety, social skills, arts, cooking
  • Engineering
  • Computers
  • Drama & Acting: poetry, singing, dance, drama, puppetry
  • Music with a professional music teacher
  • Sports: soccer, basketball, athletics

The state-of-the-art building features five classrooms equipped with soundproof walls and interactive smartboards. The interiors are light and colourful, and children love the junior cafe, with healthy & delicious meals. Educators deliver a stimulating and focused program that equips children with vital cognitive, social and emotional skills.

Outside, children are provided with an Outdoor Adventureland, where they can hone their motor and physical skills in a beautiful outdoor area.

Here at Marsden Early Learning College, we promote school readiness by implementing balanced, intentional and child-initiated learning experiences and developing an active relationship with our local primary schools. These programs are built on positive relationships between families, children, educators and the community.

Programs

To learn and develop to their potential, children must be respected and valued as individuals. The centre encourages children to become independent and lifelong learners by providing equal educational opportunities for all. Teachers and educators take a holistic approach, providing open-ended exploration and play, consistent warm relationships, and stimulating programs.

Kindergarten

The Kindergarten Program provides a learning environment that encourages children to think, investigate, explore and solve problems independently. The academic curriculum includes language, maths and science.

The Five Senses Course

In line with the centre’s holistic goals, the Five Senses course uses the senses to introduce children to a range of concepts and learning opportunities. This includes health and safety, social skills, arts and cooking.

Computers & Engineering

Children have hands-on opportunities to discover computers and engineering concepts, equipping them with important skills for kindergarten and beyond.

Drama & Acting

To nurture individuality and creativity, the centre incorporates a stimulating creativity program that includes poetry, singing, dance, drama and puppetry.

Music

Children can take part in extra-curricular music lessons with skilled professional music teachers. Available instruments including drums, guitar, piano and African drum.

Sports

The centre focuses on health and wellbeing with regular physical activity in the Adventure Wonderland playground, plus sports including soccer, basketball, athletics, gymnastics and badminton. Families are also welcome to join the Soccer Club, with lessons led by an ex-professional soccer player and qualified coach.
