Okinja Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten
Okinja Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten Centre overview
At Okinja Early Learning, we believe in providing a warm, loving environment where children grow into strong and successful young people.
Our beautiful handcrafted timber dragonfly located in the children’s playground represents change, transition and adaptability, and we have incorporated this into our logo to reflect the nature of what we do. The first five years of a child’s life are a special time where change and growth occur more rapidly than at any other age! At Okinja, we provide a loving and supportive place where children can learn, grow and transition into confident young people.
Our rooms are:
- State of the art, large purpose built indoor areas for each age group
- Our louvre windows provide cooling airflow from the sea breezes to each room with air conditioning for those tropical days for the comfort of our children and staff
- Fully equipped with digital educational tools including an electronic whiteboard used by our Bachelor qualified Kindergarten Teachers as part of the curriculum in the year before school.
We offer a variety of curricula activities including language, music lessons, movement classes and sports programs. Our Centre provides morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. These nutritious meals are prepared in accordance with Nutrition Australia Guidelines. Meals are provided by age stage for young infants, in consultation with families.
