My son has just started here 4 days a week he is in the cocoon room, I decided to transfer him from another... My son has just started here 4 days a week he is in the cocoon room, I decided to transfer him from another centre that he has been in for the last year. Omg I must say how amazing the ladies are with him in his room and tbh all the ladies in general every single one of them know his name already they are all so happy to wish him a happy good morning and he is now becoming very excited when we pull up to the centre. One thing I have noticed straight away is that there is alot of permanent staff witch is great as he knows all there faces and can feel comfortable. I love that from such a very young age they start to teach them real life skills that they will soon come to need. Even in the youngest room they start to teach them about there emotions and how to regulate them. I personally think this is amazing as it is something they will have to deal with their entire lives. The activities that they do with them are amazing I love seeing all the photos of what he has been upto during the day. My son is also a very fussy eater and since moving him here I’ve noticed that he has cut down on his bottles and is eating a lot more which is amazing as it’s something I’ve struggled with since starting him on solids. The chef there must be doing something right!! Keep up the amazing work ladies I’m very glad I decided to make the change and I look forward to seeing what else you all have up your sleeves. I mostly agree with the previous positive comments that the educators are supportive and the place is generally good. This is all true... I mostly agree with the previous positive comments that the educators are supportive and the place is generally good. This is all true UNTIL you have any sort of issue that involves escalation to the COO. My daughters attended Sagewood for 18 months (since opening) and during this time we had no issues with the childcare at all. This all changed last week when one of my daughters had a serious incident while in care. My husband and I escalated the issue due to its severity and the response we received from the COO was appalling. She completely disregarded everything we told her, dismissed the incident altogether and heavily implied both my daughters were lying. She was also quick to point out how welcome we are to leave if we don't agree with them (which we did!). No family should be made to feel unheard or unwelcome when advocating for their child’s safety. Recommending a center is easy when things are going well, but it's their response to difficulties what truly matters. Read more
