Welcome to MyKidz Early Learning!
At MyKidz Early Learning, we understand that every child is different. That's why we treat each child with the respect and dignity they deserve, tailoring our teaching methods to each child's individual needs. By valuing your child's unique qualities, we can help to unlock their potential, giving them the opportunity to grow and develop much faster. We are a privately owned and operated child care centre delivering unmatched childcare solutions in and around Doncaster and Doncaster East.
Our Philosophy
We understand that some children find it hard to be brought into a new environment. That’s why we work tirelessly to make our centre feel warm and welcoming every single day. Once your child settles into our safe and stimulating environment, they’ll have excellent opportunities to discover, imagine and create each day.
We believe the best way to unlock a child’s potential is through play. So we turn learning into a fun and engaging activity, encouraging children to feel comfortable and ask questions to discover more. Our fully trained and qualified teachers have a wealth of experience in this area and have developed a set of excellent learning experiences that are deliberate, purposeful and thoughtful.
Our Services
We offer a range of educational experiences through a Montessori program.
Our Facilities

Parent communication and involvement
Parent communication and involvement
There are many ways in which educators communicate to families including emails, phone calls and chats at drop off/pick up. Our main form of communication is through Appsessment. Upon enrolment, you will recieve a unique link to download the app on your phone, iPad or computer. Edcators are able to share curriculum documents, 'Daily Diaries', photos of your child's day and important information directly with you. You will also be alerted to your child's meals, nappy/toileting habits and sleep/rest times, ensuring you are informed right throughout the day.
At MyKidz we have created a family-centred atmosphere providing a safe and secure feel for all. We offer opportunities for parents to partner with us in a variety of ways including assisting at excursions and coming into our rooms and sharing their expertise. We understand that sometimes this may not be possible with parents' busy days, so we offer other opportunities including providing feedback on our centre policies and collaborating on projects we may be running in our rooms. We also partner with our community and have the local Dentist, Libraries and schools pay visits to our centre to share learning experiences with our children.
Centre philosophy
Centre philosophy
We believe that children deserve a happy, warm and caring environment where they learn, explore and share experiences. We also believe that all children have the right to be treated with respect and dignity and should be accepted for their individual uniqueness.
Our aim is to provide a happy, stimulating and safe environment for children to feel comfortable in making decisions in learning and to grow confidence in extending their interests and knowledge. Our educators join in on the learning by guiding children through their early years of development in our learning environment.
- To provide a comfortable, secure, loving and safe environment
- To provide children with the opportunities to establish trusting and warm relationships between educators and other children
- To accomodate to individual childrens' needs and respecting their rights to make their own decisions
- To enhance children's learning and self-esteem by using positive reinforcement and encouragement
- To respect and embrace the cultural diversity of all our families within our community
- To work in close partnership with families to share in an understanding of each child's strengths, abilities and overall development
- To provide a range of developmentally appropriate educational and play-based activities
- To provide an education and care setting of high quality
About the Curriculum
About the Curriculum
A Montessori Sessional Program is provided for our 3 and 4yo Kindergarten program. Each session is 7.5 hours per day, 5 days a week. Hours are generally between 9am to 4:30pm.
Building on the pioneering principles established by Doctor Maria Montessori, MyKidz delivers a modern Montessori education program that is based on the natural development of the child. The goal of the Montessori program is to provide children with the knowledge and skills to thrive in their educational career as lifelong learners. Educators at MyKidz encourage a strong focus on critical thinking, independence, language skills, mathematics, culture, and practical life skills. The Montessori Curriculum is based on hands-on learning experiences that have been tailored to the Australian Government's Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Through this blended approach, the educators at MyKidz ensure that children actively participate in a complete care and educational program. In effect, this integrates the intellectual, emotional, spiritual, physical, and social aspects of child development.
We take pride in being more than an educational child care service. Our goal is to partner with families and the community to guide each child's unique development journey. We do this by tailoring our educational programs to suit the development needs and interests of each child. Our aim at MyKidz is to help every child to achieve their full potential. Therefore, we commit ourselves to delivering excellence in all aspects of early childhood education and care. Our vision is to provide children with a hands-on learning experience that teaches them relevant knowledge and skills. We aim to ignite a love of learning in our children. Ultimately, we want to prepare our children, not only for school, but for life.
Programs
Programs
MyKidz operates it's own range of programs including language classes in the Kindergarten room, The Resilience Project (focusing on mindfulness, gratitude and empathy) and incursions and excursions.
Every fortnight we have an instructor from Happy Feet Fitness come to our centre to guide us through whole body movement using props and music.
Health and Nutrition
Health and Nutrition
Mealtimes are a fun and engaging time for our children where they are able to share stories about their days together across many group tables. Children in the Kindergarten room serve their own food and practise skills including cleaning up their own space and washing their dishes, all part of the Montessori Curriculum.
Children are encouraged to try all different types of foods provided by our qualified cooks, and are provided healthy and delicious choices for breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. All meals are prepared on site in our kitchen. Children have access to their own waterbottles (provided by parents) at all times.

Director and some of the educators are still the same. They have been giving excellent care to my elder 10 years ago as well as my younger at the moment. I feel like part of the families.
