Welcome to C&K Robinson Road Childcare Centre, where we embrace children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, offering nurturing care and early learning experiences. Operating five days a week from 7:00am to 6:30pm, we are dedicated to providing a supportive environment where every child can thrive.
With both age-based rooms and communal learning spaces, siblings and children of all ages can come together to learn and play. This is a place where your child will belong and make friends.
Our open-ended resources will spark your child’s imagination and are perfectly designed for their age and stage of development. Our education program is drawn from C&K’s early childhood curriculum approach. In the year before school, university-qualified teachers guide and support children to be curious, capable and collaborative learners. For our infants and toddlers, our philosophy is centred around "slowing down".
Our dedicated, friendly and qualified staff nurture play-based learning, fostering a life-long love of learning. Our families love our large natural outdoor area, where we encourage children to explore, discover, play and engage in nature.
We have a wide range of cultural and linguistic background with our families and staff.

Our dedicated and qualified teachers and educators nurture healthy minds and bodies, celebrating each child’s individual strengths to support their participation and growth towards their full potential. We co-design vibrant learning communities with children, families, and communities, ensuring your C&K centre is a place where your child feels safe, makes friends, and belongs.
Our indoor and outdoor spaces ignite imaginations and foster curiosity, allowing children to explore, experiment, play, and learn. Educators are open to your child’s ideas and will guide their social and emotional growth. Your child will have opportunities to explore, solve problems, develop friendships, use their creativity, and play. We also prepare children for the transition to school and a lifelong love of learning.
All C&K community kindergartens and childcare centres deliver a government-approved kindergarten program.
Infant and Toddler Approach
C&K has developed a specialized infant and toddler approach, guiding the care and education of our youngest learners. Our warm and professional educators "slow down" to be in the moment with your child as they explore the world. We focus on developing deep, trusting relationships with each baby and toddler, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and secure through consistent routines and rituals.
Babies and toddlers are naturally curious about the world, and we delight in sharing their sense of wonder.
Play-Based Learning at C&K
Play-based learning at C&K reflects the children, educators, families, and communities at each centre. Our teachers and educators enrich and extend children’s play in meaningful ways. For example, if a child is playing in the sandpit, an educator might encourage them to draw maps in the sand or measure water levels, supporting literacy and numeracy development.
Programs at C&K centres may also include:
Nature Play: Time to play freely outdoors, connect with nature, and use natural materials.
Risky Play: Safe exploration of questions like "Can this branch take my weight?" under expert supervision.
STEM: Inquiry-based experiences incorporating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Literacy and Language: Talking, reading, conversing, drawing, and playing with open-ended materials.
The Arts: Exploring creativity through visual arts, drama, music, movement, and a variety of materials.
First Nations Peoples' Histories and Perspectives: Learning about and respecting the connections to land, sea, and sky in all our programs.
About the Curriculum
About the Curriculum
C&K has developed a Infant and Toddler Approach which informs the way we care for and educate our babies and toddlers. Our philosophy for this age is to “slow down” and be in the moment with your child as they learn and explore the world. We focus on developing a deep and trusting relationship with each child.
All C&K childcare centres deliver C&K's Quality Kindergarten Program. Kindergarten, also known as pre-prep or preschool, is a program for children who are turning 4 by June 30 in the year before they attend school. C&K’s kindy programs are government-approved and led by experienced and university qualified teachers. Our program supports children’s curiosity, creativity, problem solving, resilience and real-world knowledge and skills.
At C&K we know that children do not learn in isolation, learning is a collaborative process between teachers, educators, children and families. At C&K we believe children are powerful learners, active citizens, thinkers and theorisers - this is at the heart of our early childhood curriculum. We've designed our indoor and outdoor spaces to ignite imaginations and nurture healthy minds and bodies. Learning through play is an integral part of our education program.
Our educators skilfully enrich and extend on children's play experiences, creating a learning program that is tailored and meaningful for your child. Your child’s learning and care journey is shared with you via conversations with your child’s educators, through written documentation and through StoryPark (an app and website).C&K has developed a Infant and Toddler Approach which informs the way we care for and educate our babies and toddlers.

Our Education Program
C&K's early childhood curriculum, Listening and Learning Together:
C&K Curriculum Approach, serves children from birth to five years old across all our kindergartens and childcare centres. This approach aligns with The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (EYLF) and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG), integrating contemporary practices and understandings of the early years.
Our educators skillfully partner with children and families to create caring and vibrant learning communities. In the year before school, university-qualified teachers guide and support children to become curious, capable, and collaborative learners. For children from birth to three, our infant and toddler approach focuses on slowing down and being present as they explore the world.
At C&K, we see children from birth as thinkers and theorisers, rich in ideas and knowledge, powerful learners, and active citizens. We work with an anti-bias curriculum to promote fairness, empowerment, and respect, modeling equity and inclusion. We honor every child’s right to play, build on their existing learning from home, and provide foundations for lifelong learning.

We had our son at C&K Robinson Road for 2 years and overall we were really disappointed with this centre. We would not recommend. Our son entered prep this year and he was behind as he had learnt very little in his kindergarten class. We have sent our daughter to another centre and are much happier. Read more

We have recently moved to Australia from overseas and my 3 yo daughter started at this childcare around 6 months ago after having tried another center previously. Sam and Lisa managed my daughter's transition process very well. Every educator at the center were very supportive and caring towards her, but I should particularly acknowledge her lead educator Mia. Her positive energy and loving heart make every kid around her very happy. We have had difficulties at the beginning but now she enjoys going to the center. She tells us about funny little memories she made during the day. She has friends and improved her English skills tramendously. Thank you all for being so caring and supportive to our kids! Read more
