Little Voyagers Early Learning Centre Chifley Centre overview
At Little Voyagers Chifley, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment where children can thrive. As a family-owned and operated boutique centre with 36 places, we take pride in offering a warm, safe, and inclusive space for children to grow, learn, and explore.
Our program follows the NSW Curriculum Framework, developed by the Department of Community Services, which embraces the principles of belonging, being, and becoming. We recognise that children’s learning begins from birth and is shaped by their relationships with family, community, culture, and place. Through these connections, they develop their identities, interests, and understanding of the world.
Guided by the five Learning Outcomes, our curriculum is designed to support the holistic development of each child—socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and spiritually. Through meaningful experiences and play-based learning, we lay the foundation for lifelong learning, helping children build confidence, independence, and a love for discovery.
At Little Voyagers Chifley, we are committed to preparing young children for a bright and successful future.

Centre philosophy
Centre philosophy
At Little Voyagers ELC, we acknowledge the Bidjigal and Gadigal peoples of the Eora nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we live, work and play. We pay our respects to the elders past, present and emerging.
Our philosophy draws on the National Quality Standards, Early Years Learning Framework, Code of Ethics and the shared values and beliefs of our Little Voyages Community.
We believe that children’s early experiences and relationships in the first five years of life are critical for their learning and development, and for building strong foundations for the remainder of their lives. Here at Little Voyagers ELC, we are committed to providing high quality education and care in an environment that is safe, nurturing and welcoming for all children and their families.
About the Curriculum
About the Curriculum
Little Voyagers Programs are based on the NSW curriculum framework, as created by the Department of Community Services.
Central to the Framework is the understanding of children’s lives and their connection to family, community, culture and place. Through our programs, we aim to instil a sense of belonging, being and becoming within every child under our care. We recognise that children have strong family, community, culture and place connections which are established before birth. Throughout early childhood, children are exposed to new ideas and concepts through interactions with their family and the wider community. Little Voyagers recognise the family’s role as the original and most influential educator in the lives of children, and we encourage involvement at every stage of your child’s journey. Through participation in our programs and everyday life, children embark on a quest of discovery whilst establishing a lifelong love of learning as they navigate their way through the world.

Kindergarten/Preschool Programs
The transition to school is not always easy for parents and children alike. Through our School Ready Voyagers program, we equip children with the skills and independence necessary to make the process as seamless as possible and give them the best chance of academic success. By nurturing children’s natural curiosity and personal interests, our educators encourage children to develop their skills within a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Children at Little Voyagers quickly develop a high level of self-confidence and the foundations necessary to excel at school and within their everyday lives. We hope to instil a lifelong love of learning within every child, with our educators taking a keen interest in the physical and mental wellbeing of each child and encouraging them to participate to the best of their abilities. Easing into the new routine, demanding tasks, rules and expectations of the school environment can be quite daunting for children. For this reason, we familiarise children with these aspects ahead of time so that they are prepared and eagerly await the next phase of their educational journey.

My daughter attended in the nursery room for a few months and the care she got was brilliant. It was the first centre she attended and everyone there was so kind and caring that we were put at ease from the very start with leaving her there. We got frequent updates via the app showing the kids enjoying playtime, mealtime etc. The facilities are fantastic, recently renovated and very clean. Unfortunately we moved out of the area so could no longer attend however I would highly recommend it. There were tears from everyone on her last day😄 Read more
What a wholesome centre and great place. Our kids settled in in no time which was all the certainty we needed to know... What a wholesome centre and great place. Our kids settled in in no time which was all the certainty we needed to know we made the right choice. Empathic. Good communication. Proactive and fun to sum it up. We’re so thrilled and reluctantly are telling all our friends because it really feels like a great secret gem we’ve uncovered but it’s too good to keep to ourselves. Read more
