Hills Montessori is the only pre-school in the Hills District that offers a true Montessori program and experience.

The dedicated Directresses at Hills Montessori Preschool are committed to teaching children to learn for themselves. As well as fostering independence, we believe in instilling a strong passion for learning that we hope they will carry throughout their lives.

Hills Montessori offer an authentic Montessori program that is rich and varied combining the Montessori principles relating to Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Geography, Languages, Creative Experiences, Social Learning and Other Cultures. Together they are all designed to assist each child to fully develop their skills in a happy and supportive environment.

Staff and parents share the responsibility of following and adhering to the Montessori philosophy, and the ongoing communication between home and school which enhances this process. Hills Montessori is staffed by experienced and caring Directresses who plan programs that are based on each child’s individual needs, with a major emphasis on life skills that prepare the child for their future.
