Woodstock Child Care Centre
Woodstock Child Care Centre overview
Woodstock Child Care Centre was established in 2007. Open from 7am to 6pm, 51 weeks of the year. Our reputation in the local community and schools is for not only providing quality care and education, but also ensuring each child is ready for school. The daily fee is inclusive of all meals, sunscreen, nappies, and bed linen. Our on-site chef prepares all meals daily ensuring fresh and nutritous food is served at each meal. Located opposite the community centre and Woodstock Park, our children can safely explore the community spaces with many of our events held in the park. Our long standing educators recognise the importance of developing authentic and positive relationships with children and families as a foundation for learning and development.

My daughter currently attends the service and I would not have sent her anywhere else! The warm and inclusive atmosphere provided is noticeable as soon as you walk through the doors. The staff are all attentive, responsive and genuinely interested in catering to the needs of every individual child. The centre is very well maintained with beautiful indoor and outdoor facilities and the multicultural menu allows the children to explore different types of foods. Highly recommend this centre! My kid had a serious injury requesting surgical intervention after fell from height(why they are allowed to climb up if no surrounding protection? )Educators even didn’t notice the injury. This was the 2nd obvious injury in the last 2 months. The educators change so frequently so it’s hard for kids to develop a long term relationship with any educators. The management team is rude and ridiculous. No apologies, no empathy after incidents and injuries happened because of their negligence. All she did was finding different excuses. More ridiculously, after admitting it was just an accident but refusing to take any responsibility for a month, they found another more rascal way-Denied the injury happened after fall at CC,Meanwhile they refused to provide camera footage to prove their statement. Their dishonesty shocked me. Only focusing on profit but no basic ethical norms. I really regretted sending my kid here. Read more
Dear Halycon, We’re sorry you feel this way about the service, and your child was hurt. While precautions and strategies are in place for children’s health and safety, accidents may still happen. Your child was standing on a wooden log from which they slipped (20-30cms high at most). The educators treated the injury the child complained from, while also conducting a check of their body. No other injuries were found. Subsequent communication led to a notification of an additional injury, which was managed, notified, investigated and cleared the service of any wrong-doing, or breaches. We have a few new educators but in your child’s room one of the two educators has been with Woodstock for 10 years, many others at the service for 2-3 years, if not more. Unfortunately, staff changes occur especially in the early childhood and education profession in this economic climate. We also apologise if you feel the response from the management team did not meet your expectations, within the various communication exchanges empathy, care, and attempting to find a resolution were present. We wish your child and family all the best.
