My youngest has been attending EMC for a few months now and I have always been impressed with the infectious positive energy in this centre. The team at EMC are one of the best i’ve seen. The educators and room leaders are very nurturing and genuinely caring. They were very supportive during the first few weeks while my bub was settling in. Lots of creative activities on offer for the kids like chia slime, shaving foam art, colorful salt, ooblek, cauldron painting, etc. I also love that they are always mindful in updating my child’s day to day events via their app or a quick chat during pick up time. I can honestly say that my bub has developed in so many ways since joining this centre and I am truly grateful to the entire team at EMC for all the wonderful things you are doing for these children in your care. In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
