Minyama Early Learning Centre is a local Sunshine Coast service located in beautiful Minyama. Our early learning centre is family owned and operated and offers a homely environment for your children. We cater for children from the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years of age, we have four rooms that are specifically arranged for their age groups.
Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment in which all children can develop and display their strengths and potential. Our centre implements two curriculum and learning frameworks, Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. These two documents are guided by the Early Years Learning Frameworks; Belonging Being and Becoming. We also are guided by the National Quality Framework, which sets a standard of care across all early learning services.
In our Starfish Room through to Turtles Room (6 weeks- 3 years 4 months), we implement the Early Years Learning Framework which is a foundation curriculum for early years, it encourages children, families and educators to build a secure and trusting environment and relationships with one another.
In our Kindergarten room 3 years 4 months – 5 years, we implement the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines which is a government funded program run by a qualified teacher. This curriculum is based on the EYLF and promotes that children experience learning that is engaging and builds success for life. Our program consist of building skills for school readiness and enabling children with a smooth transition from care to school.
