Cuddly Bear Templestowe is rated Meeting all National Quality Standards and we actively meet all Victorian Child Safe Standards. 

We believe in creating a close and positive partnership with families, the Manningham area and wider community so we can work in collaboration to support the capabilities of all children, with regular incursion and excursions such a, music and dance (Hey Dee Ho Music), weekly physical education program Kelly Sports and weekly aquatic education classes at local Swim-Centre. 

Our management team have over 40 years' experience in the early childhood field which consists of two co-directors Rebecca and Jenna and our Educational Leader Natalie.

One of our strongest assets is our diverse multicultural educators, that speak a range of different languages and we imbed this in our educational program with children, families and the wider community. We use this asset by communicating with families from different cultural background in their home language to form strong and trusting connections with families and ensuring they have a sense of belonging to our centre. 

We pride ourselves on our low staff turnover and ability to create a lovely team environment which in turn provides continuity of care and a vibrant and positive place for children. Many educators have been working at Cuddly Bear Templestowe for over 10-20 years. 

Our onsite certified chef Yafit prepares nutritious meals daily and caters for all cultural/dietary requirements inc. Halal menu.

We have an open-door policy which invites families into our service at all times. We love to share and collaborate with families and encourage families to engage in our program by sharing any special skills or knowledge they may have with our children.

We share information with families via our secure online platforms Xplor and Storypark. These are prenasalised live updates on your child's day which include your child's nutritional intake and sleeping times. Via Storypark we share information about your child's learning and development and send a short story/reflection with photos about your child's day/week.  Learning stories and educational programs are also posted on the Storypark app for families to view.

Centre management share information with families about what's happening around the center, special events and helpful resources for families on different topics relating to children. 

Educators are available for face-to-face discussions with families on arrival and departure at the centre, and longer more complex discussions are able to be arranged with your child's educator in person or on the phone when needed.
