Blooming Kids Early Learning & Long Day Care Centre overview
At Blooming Kids Early Learning and Long Day Care Centre we aim to provide a fun, safe, nurturing environment that has a warm, friendly and open atmosphere. We will strive to promote each child’s learning and development, while encouraging the building of relationships to enable children to feel that they belong, have a strong sense of being and the power to become.
We believe that Early Childhood is an integral time for children in terms of their learning and development; all children are capable and unique individuals and will be accepted for who they are as we build a community of learners where all children have the right to be heard.
We are committed to providing an inclusive environment for every child and family in our service. Through ongoing collaboration with professional services we adopt service wide strategies to support every child’s inclusion.
As educators we will work with families to facilitate children as they take part in their own learning process. Through ongoing documentation and reflections we will provide a diverse program of experiences that cater for group and individual needs, which challenge children and give opportunities for the learning of life skills, in an environment that allows for children to extend on their own learning.
Through play based learning we aim to provide opportunities for all children to reach their full potential, which will lay the foundation for successful learning in the future.
Providing a safe environment for children and families, we aim to promote confidence for active participation and learning. We acknowledge that the physical and social environments play a vital role in the education of children.
We respect all families and encourage them to share their culture, language and home experiences with the service. This will enable our service to maintain a strong partnership with our families and assist children to develop a sense of identity.
Educators are committed to ongoing training and learning in the Early Childhood field. Educators meet on a regular basis to discuss issues, reflect upon and update practices/procedures, to improve the quality and standard of care we provide to our families.

USED UP BOTH OFF ALL THERE SICK DAYS. Due to massive infection control issues. I had one or the other child home once a week. Strained me to work. Close the centre regularly with not even 48 hours notice due to not enough staff. Got spoken to about personal issues infront of anyone. Was never taken somewhere private. The supply of nappies 6 per day yet I seemed to be buying more due to them been used on other children and most likely they got charged for it but I bought them. 🥲 I know this because my children were sick a lot and weren’t at daycare to use them. Took my children off bottles because she felt like it. Didn’t ask the mother. Not even the leaders that did that. When short staff you have cert 111 running the rooms or you just don’t have enough staff for numbers in the room. Dunno anymore. Wasn’t going to leave a review but I guess I seen a post of Bloomings earlier today with the centre not a surprised is closed with a list of infectious diseases. - whooping cough, gastro, COVID, hand foot mouth all in one week cases have been confirmed. . That’s extreme. My child had a rash I sent her to daycare with a certificate explaining what it was and it wasnt affecting her- as they didn’t like her at daycare because she had the rash they rang the ambulance even know she had a certificate saying she’s fine. Told me she wasn’t breathing and my partner and I rushed to be by her side, the ambulance arrived at the same time as us and they confirmed she was absolutely fine and my partner I think that’s so traumatic for us to go through for all the staff that day to treat us like we did something wrong even know we have a certificate. The ambulance asked if we wanted to still take her to the hospital we did she was able to go home in the first 30 mins of being there. Just to prove a point. Just felt like they didn’t want her there that day and even the ambulance said the same thing she was breathing fine and laughing at dad when we arrived. So yep we copped also an ambulance bill.
