From the moment I walked into the preschool, I felt welcomed by the warm smiles and friendly greetings from the team led by Michelle. The whole team, especially Michelle, showed genuine interest in getting to know me and my child. The diversity of activities and cultural celebrations also showed that they respect and embrace different backgrounds, which made me feel respected and seen. But what made me feel truly welcomed and respected at the preschool was how the staff embraced my son for who he is. From the beginning, they showed a willingness to understand his needs and strengths as a child with autism. They communicated openly with me, involved me in planning his support, and celebrated his progress, big or small. The way they created an inclusive environment, where he could participate at his own pace without judgment, made me feel that we both belonged. During one of the most difficult times in my life, after the loss of my other child, the team showed deep compassion and understanding. They gave us the space we needed, checked in regularly, and provided emotional support. Michelle's kindness, patience, and genuine care helped me feel less alone, and it reminded me that we are part of a community that really cares. My son has grown and learned so much since starting at KU Isobel Pulsford. We've seen real progress, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. The supportive environment and thoughtful teaching have made a big difference in his development. Thank you Michelle, Sally, Dana and the rest of the team. Thank you for loving Moshe. Praying for continued success, strength and resources to keep doing the amazing work youre doing. May you keep growing and making a difference in more children's lives.
