Testimonials for Coomera Playschool:
Jamie Whatley
Coomera Playschool has been our second home since 2016. Both of my children have attended from the Babies room to Pre-Prep and have loved every minute.
All the educators make a huge effort to ensure every child is included and feel special. Families are always encouraged to be involved with all experiences which makes for such a special little community.
The support from both management and the educators has always been outstanding, I am so glad we found Playschool. Highly recommend!

What an amazing Day Care!
After a negative experience at another centre with our daughter, we enrolled her here. We immediately noticed the difference from day one. The staff genuinely cared for her and gave us constant feedback. The carers are always doing their best, great communication and always welcomed us with a smile.
Wishing Coomera Playschool all the very best!

My child has been attending this centre for 3.5 years. In that time, the centre has always been responsive to any questions, has been proactive at keeping me informed, and has worked with me in any requests I have made. The staff turnover seems very low- most of the educators have been there for the whole time my child has attended. This centre is genuinely a safe and caring place for my child and I recommend it very highly. It has a very good blend of family and community feel while still being very professional.
Melanie Arnold-Stemm
Of all the centres my daughter has attended, Coomera Playschool is by far the most superior. Both her and I adore all the staff at the centre, and the activities that are in place daily are amazing. I could not recommend a centre more than I do this one. We will be staying until school comes along!

This year we became first time grandparents to our gorgeous little girl Annabelle. So when it came time to pick a childcare centre so his wife could return to work , They went researching for a centre that offered not only a loving family environment but an eduction program as well.
Coomera playschool stood out from the rest by far.
Annabelle has learnt so much in the past 6 months and is so happy when she is dropped off and picked up. The staff are always so caring and happy to help with any questions we need answered.
FIVE STAR CENTRE FOR SURE !!!

The is one of the few evidence-based, proven programs that emphasises the importance of language development in young children. At its core, the Abecedarian Approach focuses on providing enriching experiences that support language acquisition and cognitive skills from infancy through early childhood. It involves structured and intentional interactions between caregivers and children, with an emphasis on language-rich environments, responsive caregiving, and stimulating activities.
The Abecedarian Approach, places a priority on children’s language acquisition, recognizing its pivotal role in their early learning and school readiness. Language allows children to articulate their thoughts, express their feelings, explain their ideas and interact with peers and adults, fostering meaningful connections.
The Abecedarian Approach aims to give children the best possible start in life by nurturing their language skills, cognitive abilities, and social-emotional development during their most critical years of growth. Language is the cornerstone of children’s development, investing in language development in the early years lays the groundwork for lifelong success and well-being.
Nature play and loose parts play are both recognised as highly beneficial for child development, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and overall well-being. Nature play promotes physical health, sensory stimulation, and stress reduction, fostering creativity and imagination. Loose parts play involves open-ended materials that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and social skills. Both types of play contribute to the overall well-being of children by providing opportunities for unstructured, child-directed activities that support physical, cognitive, and social development. Combining nature elements with loose parts enhances the richness of the play experience, allowing children to explore and engage with their environment in diverse and imaginative ways.
Nature and loose parts play supports relationships between Playschool and its wider community. Families, children and the community collecting and donating loose parts and nature for our Playschool children to play, build and explore with fosters a connection and builds our children’s understanding of sustainability, recycling and their community.

Centre philosophy
Centre philosophy
At Playschool Early Learning Centres our passion for the Abecedarian Approach (3A Abecedarian Approach Australia- The University of Melbourne) has driven our Playschool ELC team to develop a balance between adult-led intentional teaching, meaningful adult- child interactions, spontaneous child centred play and child’s agency.
We aim to provide a comfortable environment at our Early Learning Centres where families/ carers, children and educators want to be! We believe our warm, friendly, nurturing environment and 3A teaching and learning strategies lead our young learners on the path to a happy and successful education and life journey.
Through the development of a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we aim to foster and provide a higher level of knowledge in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions, providing a place of equity, dignity and respect for all.
We include and embrace each child, their family, respect diversity and have a commitment to inclusion and equality. We aim to develop a deep sense of security, trust and acceptance with the children encouraging them to develop to their full potential.
Playschool ELC recognises the importance of family in a child’s life and encourage the involvement of the primary caregivers, family members and the wider community to connect with and interact with the children’s learning journey. We believe that open, respectful, and regular communication is an integral part of maintaining these vital relationships and we use various methods to ensure they are maintained. Our team endeavour to be an extension of the family and encourage our educators to display teaching practices which reflect this.
Our vision is to lead responsive, motivated, and engaged educators who genuinely care about the future of our children. We aim to employ educators who embrace and implement the 3A Approach, undertake professional development to improve themselves as educators and to deepen their understanding of how children learn and grow. We believe our educators need to be positive role models in every way because children are learning through each experience, every day.
Playschool Early Learning Centres respect and appreciate our natural environment. Our Educators understand the importance of embedding a love of nature in our children and using the learning environment as the third teacher. We believe that play is learning, and there is no better resource than nature. We also incorporate the use of loose parts and recycled materials to ensure we are creating responsible adults and a happier environment. Nature play and Loose parts also create open ended learning experiences allowing children to be creative and problem solve.
We provide an educational program that supports The Early Learning Years Framework as well as implementing the Abecedarian Approach. We believe in creating supportive, stimulating, and harmonious environments, which promote active learning and positive “learn through play” situations with a strong focus on language priorities. We aim to nurture independence, a strong sense of identities, connectedness, wellbeing, confidence, and strong sense of self. We believe these factors are essential to a child’s belonging, being and becoming. Our Centre Philosophy supports Playschool Early Learning Centre’s motto:
“Happy Children, Bright Futures”

Being a mother of three beautiful girls myself, who are all now qualified Early Childhood Educators that work within Playschool ELC, has allowed me to appreciate the importance of high quality education and care. It is a privilege to be chosen by you to care for and educate your little ones.
Playschool ELC provides ongoing training and support to our educators, ensuring they possess a solid understanding of evidence-based teaching/learning strategies and understand the importance of a learning environment that provokes wonder, curiosity and intellectual engagement in a safe and secure space.

If you are searching for an exceptional childcare centre, look no further than Coomera Playschool Early Learning Centre. My daughter attended the centre from 2017 in babies until she graduated pre-Prep, and now my son currently attends the centre. The owner, management team and educators all show genuine care for each child's development and wellbeing. The educators provide excellent communication on your child's day along with developmental progress reports. Playschool ELC adopt an Abecedarian learning approach which focuses on language priority, conversational reading, learning games and enriched caregiving. When our daughter attended her school readiness interview, the Head of Junior School specifically enquired as to which daycare centre she had attended and said it was evident she had received an excellent early education which has assisted her greatly in primary school, and to which I credit the Playschool educators and Abecedarian learning approach. One aspect that sets Coomera Playschool apart is their focus on individualized attention. The teachers take the time to understand each child's unique strengths, interests, and needs, ensuring that they receive personalized care and support. It's wonderful to see my children thrive and grow under such attentive guidance. Another aspect that I greatly appreciate is the open and effective communication between the playschool and parents.
