Programs
Programs
The programs at Loganholme Early Learning have been designed with the whole child in mind. The educators understand the importance of the early years and work with the children through a holistic approach.
The program focuses around six key pillars:
- Knowledge: Cognitive and intellectual skills
- Active: Physical wellbeing
- Communication: Literacy and Pre-reading skills
- Planet Earth: STEM learning and sustainability
- Talent: Creative expression through art, music, performance and media
- “Me”: Social and emotional skills, empowerment, confidence and resilience
The children participate in Mini-Master Chef, Zen Kids Yoga, Creative Studio, Bush & Beach Kindy and Academy of Stars. They also have STEM, languages, sport, swimming, music and dance classes and enjoy regular excursions and incursions.
Through nature play the children learn about sustainability and caring for the environment. The educators also help prepare them for the transition to big school via the school readiness program.

Loganholme Early Learning is owned by an ex-private school Principal who is not only a qualified teacher, but has 27 years experience of working with children. She knows what a child needs for a fully grounded foundation to learning and has developed specialised programs that you will find nowhere else. This truly prepares your child for success at school and beyond.
Karen is also a qualified parenting coach who will support you in your parenting journey. Check out our Parenting and More section in our website for the Parents and Kids Empowerment Club you get for free when attending Loganholme Early Learning!
We employ both university qualified, registered teachers and professional early childhood educators who work together at our service to provide your child with a best practice, play-based and early education curriculum well ahead of the rest.
For our children, relationships are key to children’s wellbeing and learning and our approach focusses on the relationship between your child and a consistent educator.
All of our educators hold or are studying towards appropriate qualifications for their positions. We go above and beyond the national regulations by training ALL educators in First Aid, CPR and asthma and anaphylaxis management so you can feel assured they will be ready to take action in the event of an injury or medical emergency. We also have a pool of regular relief educators for times when our educators are out of the service for professional learning opportunities, holidays or should they be unwell.
Karen is so highly experienced in the field, she regularly conducts in-house professional development for all our staff to ensure they are at the top of their profession, personally and experientially.

I started my little man here in May 22 when I came back to full time work, he was three months old. From the moment I walked through the door the staff were amazing. They made the transition so easy for me and my little man has absolutely thrived. The new owner has been an absolute gem to the team making so many valuable changes to the buildings and curriculum. I can not fault them all. I could not recommend this Centre more highly. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. They really care for all of the children and I am happy to have my little one there. Read more
Thank you so much for your kind words Chantelle ! We are indeed blessed to have such a wonderful team who are passionate about nurturing all these beautiful children.

We first joined the centre due to its great reviews and a few families we knew who had been apart of the centre for many years. It was great at first, our LO settled in so well and the nursery lead educator was amazing. After a change in management, the cracks began to show. All of the previous educators ended up leaving and then there has been a continuous revolving door of staff coming and going. Parent communicated routines were not being followed and all age groups were being combined all day due to lack of staff. This meant that the babies weren’t sleeping due to Kindy aged children running around and playing in the nursery room all day. Concerns were raised by many families and were meant with excuses or were dismissed as being ‘normal’. Unfortunately a very nice little centre is being run into the ground with many families leaving the centre. I would not recommend any family to send their children to this centre whilst it is being run by current management. Such a shame. Read more
Hi there Chloe, Thank you for taking the time to provide an honest review and I understand as per our centre complaints policy that this has been responded to and appropriately investigated by both the approved provider and the QLD department if education, who we also believe would have been in contact with you further. As per the investigation and feedback from the department of education we have implemented and updated our procedures and policies as per their recommendations and the feedback that you have also provided. Sadly the last 2 years have been extremely difficult for everyone and educators have been working so hard to keep consistency for families and children, placing their needs and their own needs families last. Whilst working through difficult times it does make staff reflect and review their current situation, the choice to vaccinate or to not vaccinate against covid (We respect and agree with whatever a staff member chooses to do with their own body) and sadly this has resulted in staff no longer wanting to work in Childcare anymore and we as a company even though it is extremely upsetting we believe that educators have to do what is best for their families and themselves even if that is making such a tough call, and placing the service in a tough situation, however we will support staff in doing what is best for them. I can confirm that our service utilises a couple of casual agencies to support staff that are unwell and are unable to make it in for the day and ensuring that we meet the required ratio at all times, so yes it does seem like a lot of new faces, however these are casual staff supporting our permanent staff that are unwell and we would rather them stay home, recover then come to work and spread their illness with other staff and children. Unfortunately the childcare sector is dealing with a staffing criss with more educators leaving then there is in staying or getting into the profession, our service is sadly not exempt from this crisis and we will continue to ensure that we have educators at our service that are here for the right reasons such as to support families and children, providing children with a quality early learning environments to grow and develop based on their interests, rather then educators that are not invested into improving the services that we offer families and children. We wish you and your family the very best for your future!
