I just wanted to say how grateful I am to you lovely ladies! You go above and beyond any expectations. I couldn't ask for a better daycare for William and Matilda. They adore you ladies and I feel completely at ease knowing they are safe in your care whenever they visit! Thank you.
Nicole, parent
This service has been such a blessing, my children are so excited to get up and go to school every day. The Educators have made great connections to my children and as parents we are grateful for this.

My children always happy when they come home with many stories about their day, this makes me happy as a full time working parent to know they are having fun at childcare.

Programs
Programs
Sustainability: designed to teach and educate the children on how to care for their environment.
Helper Heroes: this program gives the children opportunity to build life skills in the classroom and to develop their independence.
News Day: children’s voices are all heard and valued, and this is a great opportunity to share and discuss topics of interest in a group setting.
Travelling Teddy Program: a fun activity designed to be shared with the family on the weekend.
Munch and Move: a NSW Health initiative designed to get little bodies moving, being healthy, and taking part in physical fitness and healthy eating experiences.
Music and Movement: the educators embrace diversity and like to extend this through the centre’s music program; with different instruments, songs, dance, and learning outcomes.
Project Learning: the children have so many interests and the educators make the most of this natural curiosity by involving the children in special learning projects. Multicultural resources are available for the children to explore and interact with.
Art: the educators believe that all children are artists, and as such they offer many different mediums for the children to use, explore and create their artworks. The centre has many opportunities for the children to display their artwork in the centre.
School Readiness: the children take part in the tailor made program designed to prepare them for the next steps in their education at kindergarten; including social, emotional and cognitive skill development.
Nature Play & Animal Care: the centre have their own family of chickens for the children to help take care of; and offer gardening facilities and experiences where children can learn about growing plants for enjoyment or to use in cooking.
Self Help Program: this is focused on teaching independence and life skills, such as toilet training, putting on shoes, fine motor skills, and taking care of their belongings.

The Educators at HELC are always looking for ways to turn the children’s natural interests into a learning opportunity. Whether it’s animals, bugs, space or pirates - these opportunities really are endless. These special projects can help children learn everything from language and numeracy to empathy/caring skills and even understanding the world. Come and visit HELC, ‘where your child is in the care of professionals.’
It's more like a Home away from Home and this is great for the kids. If I had to pick one more thing for our Centre, I also love the fact we have animals to teach and involve the children in the care for them, not all children get this opportunity at home, but the fun is endless here and I love hearing laughter. Miss Rajbir, Educator
After working in childcare for more than 10 years I still love teaching the children new things and following up on their curiosities just as much as my very first day, I might be teaching them but everyday they teach me something new I can’t think of a better way to be making a difference and to be part of the community. Miss Icie, Educator
It’s those moments when you pause and notice that something a child has just achieved a skill, an activity or something they have said, is because I have taught them and helped them to achieve it, these moments make me so proud and to share the joy and embrace their achievements is one of the best parts of my day.
Miss Beth, Educator
Health & nutrition
Health & nutrition
The health and nutrition of the children is important to the educators at Hannah ELC and it is reflected in the menus they offer and the meals that they provide. Fruits and vegetables are a part of everyday conversations during mealtimes. The educators work closely with the NSW Department of Health’s Munch and Move team to plan and implement healthy menus and many physical fitness experiences.

My son is a special need baby, he has down syndromes and hearing loss, I asked the manager when enrolled him to apply for an inclusion teacher, she said she have enough stuff. The physical environment is not that safe, my one year old baby had 2 incidents their in only 10 days, a child bited him from his nose then another one scratched him badely in his eye. I always picked him with dirty clothes, face and food inside his nose. My child is a potential asthmatic, he had a ventoline plan that says (when needed) after the actual plan time finished. He can sometimes breath fast if he cries too much or got stressed out or overwhelmed, the manager decide to terminate his enrollement because of that, she said I need to find him another place in 2 weeks. She stressed me out today and got me an anxiety attack saying that he is very sick, can't breath well and I need to pick him up, I left my work after it took me time to find someone to take me their since I don't drive, I arrived and found out that my son was doing very well and nothing wrong with him and was breathing normally. Not recommended at all!! Read more
