Although the photos and other reviews are stunning, I had a very unpleasant experience interacting with the Centre Manager. Our visit was cancelled less than an hour before the scheduled time—which was already difficult to arrange for two working parents. When I asked to reschedule, I was told to go to the website and book it there. We had done that for the initial booking, and it didn’t work, as it was cancelled at the last minute. I asked if we could confirm a time over the phone. The response was dismissive—they said she might be available on another day but couldn’t confirm anything and would call me back in two days. There was no follow-up. The worst part was when I expressed my disappointment about being directed to a system that clearly doesn’t work. They began to threaten me, saying they expect parents to be “understanding” because they assess how families fit with the centre and accept or decline applications. How appropriate is that? How am I supposed to feel comfortable sending my child to a daycare that seems to hold power over the parents? Read more
