Happy Little Campers Early Childhood Learning & Development Centre overview
Welcome to Happy Little Campers Early Learning Centre!
Happy Little Campers Early Learning Centre provides care for children aged 2 – 6 in a nurturing and homestyle environment. The energy in the centre is positive and vibrant, creating a place where children feel comfortable, secure and loved. Through consistency and familiarity they develop strong and trusting relationships with their educators.
The learning spaces are fun and bright, balancing colour with sustainable timber materials. The spaces are designed to encourage each child’s personal and educational development through a play-based and intimate, small group approach. The educators also plan one in-house incursion each month to complement the children’s learning.
The outdoor play spaces are open and engaging, offering the children the opportunity to connect with nature while they play. Shaded by a beautiful frangipani tree, the children can play on the equipment or enjoy sensory water play. They can also tend to the established vegetable garden.
Located just a short walk from the Five Dock shopping strip and public transport, parents can also use nearby street parking for added convenience. Why not book a tour of this holistic and community-oriented centre today?

Programs
Programs
With a strong community focus, the programs at Happy Little Campers include opportunities for the children to connect with their own and other cultures.
The preschool program includes a bilingual component, teaching the children the Italian language. This includes singing songs in Italian each day. The centre has a relationship with an early learning centre in Italy to support this.
The Indigenous program includes a daily Welcome to Country Acknowledgement. Through a relationship with an early learning centre in Adelaide, the children share artwork, stores and photos to enhance their learning about Indigenous culture.
Each Wednesday, the children participate in a fitness program and also attend one in-house incursion every month.
For children that require speech or occupational therapy, the centre works closely with therapists to support this. The children can attend their therapy sessions at the centre. A fully inclusive centre, they also work closely with the NDIS.
Meet the team
Meet the team
The educators at Happy Little Campers are passionate about early childhood education and their role in supporting children’s development. They are committed to creating fun and engaging experiences that lay strong foundations for life.
The centre has two qualified Early Childhood Educators, rare for such an intimate centre. The centre chef is a qualified pastry chef and holds a Certificate 3 in Nutrition and Dietetics.
Many of the educators have been at the centre for many years, with some as many as a decade of Happy Little Campers service. This gives the children consistency and familiarity in their learning environment.
Parent communication and involvement
Parent communication and involvement
The educators at Happy Little Campers respect the role as a child’s first educator. Building on this, they foster collaborative and meaningful relationships with parents to support each child as they learn and grow. The role of educating is shared with parents, giving them the best opportunity to develop trusting relationships based on security and love.
The centre has a strong focus on community, as a tool to develop a sense of belonging. They encourage all members of the Happy Campers Community – educators, children and parents – to make positive contributions to the community.
