If I could give 0 stars I would. The staff in my sons room were awful. There was no connection made or positivity.... If I could give 0 stars I would. The staff in my sons room were awful. There was no connection made or positivity. I only sent him for 5 weeks, by week 3 I could see that he wasn’t having ‘trouble’ settling, he was being neglected. I gave the staff a chance and was met with flat out rudeness. My only regret is I sent him there for too long. We went to a different centre and he was fine by week 2. 3 times I picked him up with a dirty nappy, twice I picked him up with him holding his comforter and crying whilst the staff were on their computer, her response was I don’t have time for everything. We have had amazing experiences at GELC! My son recently started prep and we couldn’t be happier with the level of care and preparation that went into getting the kindy kids ready for prep! I cannot begin to explain the confidence both my kids have gained from being at GELC. The educators are so amazing, kind and fun. They spend quality time with the kids to teach them so many amazing things in wonderful ways. My kids always love to go and see their educators and friends and are always smiling at pick up from a fantastic day! Communication with GELC is great too, the updates come through email or on the app and we’re kept up to date with everything that’s happening.
