Welcome to Sparrow Early Learning Malvern Springs! We provide early education and care for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years old in a warm, home-like setting designed to be a continuation of children’s familiar home learning environments.
Inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophy, our educators provide a holistic, play-based curriculum with a strong emphasis on natural elements and outdoor learning experiences. We celebrate each child as unique and focus our programming on meeting the individual needs and interests of each child in our care.
Indoor learning spaces feel just like home and are filled with materials and resources that come straight from nature and everyday life. Activities are largely open-ended to allow children to follow their interests, use their imagination and stimulate social interactions with their peers and educators.
Adventure and discovery awaits in our shaded outdoor spaces where rocks, logs and wooden climbing structures provide limitless opportunities for unstructured, imaginative play with friends.
Our team warmly welcomes you to enquire and arrange a visit to experience our lovely service for yourself.

After relocating from the UK to WA, we were naturally anxious about how our 3 year old would adapt to such a big change-especially starting at a new place having settled so well in a nursery back in the UK. We couldn’t be more delighted with the experience we’ve had. From day one, the staff have been exceptional—warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Our daughter settled in far more quickly than we ever expected, and that’s entirely down to the caring environment the team has created. The communication from staff has been clear and reassuring since day one, and it's been lovely to see our child coming home happy and full of stories about playing with her friends and educators. Thank you to the amazing team for making the transition so smooth and positive! Read more

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
