Insight Early Learning - Burwood Brickworks

Sustainability and STEM are key elements of our curriculum at Insight Early Learning Burwood, nurturing a love of nature and sparking curiosity about the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through hands-on experiences, children develop an understanding of the environment while building critical thinking skills that will inspire them cultivating their life-long learning. 

We are delighted to welcome our Centre Director Bella Germano. Bella brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our Insight Early Learning Burwood service.

Bella plays a crucial leadership role in ensuring the smooth operation and high-quality care within Insight Early Learning Burwood. These responsibilities include:

1. Leadership & Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing staff, and ensuring a positive, productive work environment. This involves leading a team of educators, providing guidance, performance and practice uplift and fostering professional development.
2. Compliance & Regulations: Ensuring the centre meets all regulatory requirements and standards, including safety, health, and licensing rules. This also includes keeping up-to-date with VIC Early Learning regulations and government policies.
3. Curriculum Oversight: Developing and implementing an educational curriculum that aligns with our philosophy, focusing on child development, learning, and well-being. The director ensures the curriculum is enriching and appropriate for each age group.
4. Family Engagement: Building strong relationships with families, addressing their concerns, and ensuring open communication. Bella may also plan events or initiatives to involve families in the centres activities.
5. Quality Control & Improvement: Continuously assessing and improving the quality of care and education provided, conducting staff evaluations, and ensuring the centre maintains a high standard of service.
6. Child Safety & Wellbeing: Ensuring that children’s safety, health, and emotional well-being are prioritised at all times. This includes implementing safety protocols and managing incidents if they arise.

Me and my daughter had a nice welcoming time with beatiful and amazing educators. The environment is beautiful and equipped.
