Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education George Street

Recently refurbished centre in the heart of Sydney CBD is ideal for working families. We offer easy access to public transport and free 15-minute parking for stress-free drop-offs. Children love our music and yoga programs.

At Guardian Childcare & Education Centre George Street, children aged 6 weeks to 6 years have access to a play-based learning approach led by dedicated and caring educators. The children are nurtured in a safe, respectful and loving environment geared towards helping them reach their full potential before heading off to school.

The spacious indoor areas are well-equipped with Reggio-inspired resources to support the children's learning and development. The custom-designed, age-specific areas encourage the children to explore and become curious. Inside there are lots of activities and age-appropriate toys, including a wigwam, a wooden cubby house, books and arts and crafts.

The homely centre also has ample outdoor space with a sandpit and other natural play equipment for the children to enjoy. The space is safe and secure, with city views and lots of space for the children to run, jump and play. The educators also make the most of the CBD location and regularly plan engaging excursions.

Located just a short walk from Town Hall Station and CBD bus stops, the centre is convenient to access via public transport. Why not book a tour of this convenient and caring centre today?

Programs

The centre programs revolve around the interests and skills of the children. The educators take a personalised approach to get to know each child, their needs and what interests them most. They then tailor the program to match.

With a mix of structured and unstructured play, the educators embed important foundational learning and skills throughout the day. What may seem like fun and play to the children or even to an outside observer, the educators carefully plan activities with real learning benefits. Whether it’s counting the chairs to put out at lunch or practising social skills through dress up play, the children are always growing, learning and developing.

Community is also a strong focus in the program. The educators make the most of their community connections to plan engaging incursions and excursions for the children to enjoy. This enhances their sense of belonging as they develop an understanding of the world around them.
