Effort and dedication go unrecognized, and instead, you’re met with criticism and favoritism that creates an exhausting and demoralizing workplace. The environment is filled with cliques of young, untrained staff who prioritize gossip over growth. Discrimination is rampant, particularly towards culturally diverse staff members, and there’s no accountability from leadership. There are far too many supervisors micromanaging rather than mentoring. Those who try to make a genuine difference are ignored or pushed aside. Childcare standards are inconsistent and concerning — children’s safety and emotional wellbeing seem like an afterthought. Staff turnover is high, and the toxic culture breeds stress, anxiety, and burnout. Unless you enjoy being undervalued and undermined daily, stay away from this place. Read more
