Unethical practices going on at this centre, witnessed within a 16 month time frame. It is a shame because Albany Creek was highly rated. Lowood... Read more

Hi Jennifer. I assume you are referring to the unethical practices you raised in one of your emails to us? As discussed in our emails between each other, we are unsure if you are aware of how kindergarten funding works within a service? You applied for early entry schooling for your child - kindergarten funding is only payable from the date of a confirmed enrolment from the school, due to not being the correct age for schooling the following year. This was actioned and back dated to the date on the letter as discussed with you. As we also discussed in person and over various emails, we can not control nor can we change any of these amounts. You are more than welcome to contact kindergarten funding and they can confirm your child’s entitlements. Accusations of withholding money from staff are baseless and blatantly false as is taking money falsely from families. The money that was deducted from your account was owed by you for services rendered. We explained this to you many times and we itemised your account in an email so you could see what this was made up of. We have a signed direct debit form from you on file. Families are responsible for paying their accounts and ensuring they are up to date at all times. Since you started with us in February 2024, this is the first time you have communicated to the centre any concerns with your account other then your dishonored payments. We cannot see any emails or communication of anything within your time at the service. We have provided clear verbal communication and written emails to answer all of your questions in regards to your account. It deeply saddens us that you feel this way over a situation that was explained
