Goodstart Early Learning Kangaroo Flat is located at 17A Church Street, close to schools, shops, and community facilities on Djar Djar Wurrung land, where we honour Elders past, present, and emerging.
Our centre provides nurturing care and early learning for children aged six weeks to six years, including 3- and 4-year-old funded Kindergarten programs. We celebrate cultural diversity and connection to the land with four learning spaces named in the local Djar Djar Wurrung language—Murna, Wurrak, Duwin, and Mutjang.
Our experienced team comprises Bachelor-qualified teachers, Diploma, and Certificate III educators who tailor programs to each child’s needs, interests, and strengths. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, our play-based approach fosters growth in a safe, welcoming environment.
We maintain close family connections through StoryPark, enabling clear communication and personalised learning journeys. Our onsite cook prepares healthy meals and snacks following Healthy Together Victoria guidelines, offering children fresh, nutritious options throughout the day.
At Goodstart Kangaroo Flat, we believe in the power of connection—to people and the land—empowering children to grow, thrive, and confidently explore their independence.
Vision: “Children learn best at their own pace and in their own way.”
Philosophy: “We believe in the power of connection. Connection to people and the land. With natural, engaging environments and open hearts, we empower children to take confident leaps in their journey to independence.”
