Programs
Mini Masterminds sees innovation as a driver for development in our Minis. The inclusive extra-curricular activities encourage diversity and inclusion, ensuring every child feels accepted as they play and learn.
Our Minis have access to the latest equipment to encourage creative free play and holistic development. All activities are included as part of the daily fee, including:
Sports Program: For our Minis aged 3 and up, the centre offers the ‘Mini Champions’ sports program. This encourages our Minis to gain fitness regardless of their athletic ability, and helps build self-esteem and confidence.
Language Program: Our Minis are taught languages from native speakers at the centre, further developing and strengthening their cognitive function, problem-solving skills and cultural awareness.
Cooking Program: Our Minis can take part in the ‘Mini Chefs’ cooking class, a fun hands-on class that encourages children to experiment in the kitchen while learning about basic cooking techniques and smart food choices. These classes teach kitchen safety, food preparation and proper food handling practices.
Yoga Program: Each week our Minis aged 2 and up take part in ‘Mini Yoga Club’ at the centre. This practice is associated with learning, memory and regulating emotions, and it helps our Minis to learn positivity and self-acceptance.
Regular Excursions: Our Minis can extend their learning outside of the centre by taking part in excursions. Some examples include the Easter Show and visiting local parks for a picnic day.
In-House Incursions: Special visitors to the centre can share a wealth of knowledge with our Minis, as they can learn, discover and explore new and exciting things. Some incursions include native wildlife and reptile visits, petting zoos, dentists visits and cultural exploration with visits from Indigenous artists

Parent communication and involvement
Parent communication and involvement
As a family-owned and operated centre, Mini Masterminds builds strong connections with centre families and the wider community.
By taking a collaborative approach with parents and the community, the centre encourages diversity and inclusion. This ensures that every Mini feels accepted and part of the Mini Masterminds ‘family’.
Parent feedback helps inform programs, which aim to build confident, independent and active learners. The centre invites families to drop in and speak to our Educators. Families also participate in special events and cultural celebrations throughout the year.
About the Curriculum
About the Curriculum
In addition to the National Curriculum, Mini Masterminds is proud to have developed a bespoke Curriculum in consultation with well-regarded Early Childhood Teacher, Jacob Camilleri.
Central to this is a unique Prep School Program which exposes children to the NSW Foundation Font. It focuses not just on the Early Years Framework but also the Early Stage 1 Curriculum. By merging the Prep School and Kindergarten lessons, our Minis will have a head start when it comes to their formal schooling.
The focus of the Curriculum is on play-based learning, which ensures each Mini develops, understands and takes responsibility at their own pace. The centre does away with the dated early learning methods of set lesson plans. Instead, it embraces individuality, personal growth and current abilities, allowing each Mini to comfortably develop in a warm, secure and supportive environment.
The centre’s programs allow for our Minis to move freely around the activities, making their own unique choices, while ensuring that all key learning areas are promoted and explored. The overall aim of the Curriculum is to develop each Mini's independence, while fostering confidence in communication and learning.

My child now goes here for a year now but since Mr Michael came on board we have seen a massive positive shift. The team of educators has grown substantially and everyone is much happier. The communication and organisation has improved. Mr Michael is also always on site and helping. The kids enjoy structural learning and we are getting more frequent updates and picture on the app. Really happy with how things have been turned around within the last couple of months! Read more
I would like to appreciate the current centre director Michael McGrath, as he has demonstrated strong leadership and organizational skills, ensuring smooth operations... I would like to appreciate the current centre director Michael McGrath, as he has demonstrated strong leadership and organizational skills, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with this centre since he joined. There are noticeable changes, particularly his initiative to create a little garden and stay for a long time to give the parents a chance to communicate and provide input. However, there is always room to improvement, continuous training in modern childcare techniques, inclusive education, and effective parent communication could further strengthen the team’s effectiveness. Regular upgrades to outdoor play equipment and classroom resources would enhance the overall learning experience, including the indoor play equipment’s frequent safety check. This centre is highly recommended due to its well-structured indoor and outdoor spaces and its compassionate and kind educators; Miss Tegan, Miss Upoma, Miss Anshika, Miss Winnie, Miss Popy, and Miss Angie are named a few. I should recognize Miss Eileen, the Assistant director who is always open to listen any query with her lovely smile. I wish this centre and its staff all the best, and I am grateful for the love and care they have given to my little child. Read more
