Join the family at Meerilinga Ballajura and enjoy an affordable alternative to childcare in our quality Early Learning Program. Enrol your 2.5 - 4 yr old in a fun and engaging early education program that has been built on learning through play! Meerilinga Ballajura is a not-for-profit organisation and a vibrant hub for community groups and families. A hidden gem, our centre is located right next to the Ballajura Library. Meerilinga's pre-kindy area features a huge nature-based outdoor play area. Supporting sun safe activities, we also offer a large undercover area encouraging outdoor play whatever the season. Close to the football club and swimming pool, Meerilinga Ballajura is in integral part of the Ballajura community and is proudly supported by The City of Swan.
Meerilinga Ballajura's goal is to promote positive childhoods in Ballajura. Part of this is supporting families with their child’s transition into school. To do this, Meerilinga follows ACECQA's vision of Belonging, Being & Becoming. Opening just last year, Meerilinga Ballajura is our latest Early Learning Program. Which means that the program has been modeled on the best of the best from our other successful programs in Perth. Meerilinga has built its educational program around the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). The entire team at Meerilinga Ballajura are passionate about letting your child enjoy childhood. Helping them make meaningful discoveries by learning through play.

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
