After spending almost a month at this center during my placement, I can honestly say it’s a wonderful environment for children and families. - First of all, it's not part of a franchise, so the center management actually has centralized authority to ensure the wellbeing of all the children and implement any requests coming from families without unnecessary delays or complications (To simplify, actions are taken quick after any feedback or complaints from the families) - From what I could see, the educators are genuinely caring, attentive and passionate towards the children. - Throughout my placement, I observed the management putting excellent effort into ensuring that educators follow all guidelines properly. - An actual cleaning company cleans the center every day after it closes. - There’s thorough cleaning of toys, center-owned clothes, play materials etc everyday. - Plenty of toys, learning materials and always additional resources were brought to the center. - Food is served properly and hygienically.The menu looks really balanced and nutritious. - Incident reports (of any fall, scratch, bump to the children including any minor or major concerns) are filled out properly and notifications are sent to relevant stakeholders of the child. - Communication with the families is always on time and professional using the kinderloop platform. Families can directly ask questions, comment or communicate with the educators regarding day to day activities or any concerns regarding their children through this platform. - The center director and management are consistently involved in communication with the educators and most importantly, they are actively on the floor everyday which in some centers may not be the case. At last, even if you live a bit far from Wattle Grove, I genuinely believe that for the best outcome for your children, it's worth the drive. Read more
