How on Earth is Aspire going to replace the sheer volume of unhappy staff that have left in the last few months? Finding suitably qualified childcare staff is a long process. You can't just pick anyone off the street and hope they will fit in with your centre. Your aim at this point is going to be filling positions just to make ratios, your focus won't be on finding the right people for the job, it will be about putting bums in seats. Your business model, practices, standards and morals have let your whole centre down. An almost 100% turnover of staff in less than a year screams incompetence at the highest level. Aspire needs to take a long hard look at themselves to correct your culture issues. The media would have a field day with this. Telling staff that they are "just an educator and can be easily replaced" is downright disgusting. These educators are second families to our children and you are treating them like they are disposable while you continue to charge extortionate fees for a service you can no longer provide at the expected standard. At a bare minimum you should be waiving the exit fees for all families who no longer feel comfortable leaving their children in an environment that is changing every single day. The parents in this centre are not stupid, stop treating us with the same disrespect that you show your staff by spinning your corporate nonsense at us. You have failed from the top level - the fish rots from the head and you have lost your reputation, the confidence of the families who pay for Aspire managements lifestyle, and the trust of the educators who are doing one of the hardest jobs out there. Be better Aspire. Do better. Zero stars if I could. Do not send your children here if you value any kind of consistency, honesty or transparency from management. Huge respect to all of the educators who had the courage the walk away knowing they could not provide the level of care they wanted to with the lack of support from a disengaged, uncaring and unprofessional management team.
