Salisbury Family Day Care

Hi, my name is Krishna. Earlier I have worked as a Bookkeeper and as an Administration Assistant then I became a childcare educator in 2010 and worked in various childcare centres as a casual worker then I have started my own Family Day Care in 2011. My educational qualifications are Masters in Sociology and Diploma of children’s services. I hold current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates and been trained in anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma management.

My Philosophy:

I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. I aim to provide a safe, caring and homelike environment where children are able to feel comfortable, to explore their independence and be stimulated by their sur­roundings. I strive to cater for each child’s individual strengths and interests. I will trans­form each child’s interest into a learning process, allowing them to share and develop a range of experiences with other children. I value open and honest communication and recognise its importance when working as a team. I am committed to providing a high quality of service and care for every child and their family.

Children’s Learning Experiences / My Program:

My program is derived to strongly enhance the interests of the children as well as further developing strengths of each individual child. Children’s home language, culture and religious differences will be included within the program. Using this programming method allow me to observe, monitor, assess and report on your child’s developmental progress. My program is individual basis which foster interest based themes or activi­ties.
