Little locals Bracken ridge has been one of the best decisions we have made for our daughters . They are nurtured, happy and thriving under some of the most experienced staff I have met. Both my daughters have been attending Little Locals Bracken Ridge since they were 7 months old, 5 days a week full time. The Educators genuinely enjoy being around the children, each one treating us with respect and understanding. I am greeted with a smile as well has bright, walls covered in artwork , stories, events as soon as I walk through the doors. Every educator is qualified, working and striving to be better, with immense combined knowledge, so that as a community they can provide the best care possible and always looking to do better. Some staff have been there for over 15 years! Nurtritious meals are provided every day taking into consideration that we don't eat beef. I don't have to worry about providing nappies, or food as I know that it is all included in their care. As a mum working full time with early starts, I can drop my kids off by 6.15 early morning - trusting that my kids will be safe and in a secure environment. It is so convenient not having to worry about preparing meals(even breakfast) the night before or before work! Most importantly the programs at each milestone of the journey -there is a massive importance placed on Learning, adventure and curiosity. My children have thrived at Little Locals Bracken Ridge. Not only are they creating, and playing every single day they focus on learning their numbers and alphabet, colours, most importantly - they are focusing on how to be safe, how to say no! Just last night my youngest not even being able speak properly - said 'I don't open door to strangers'. It's a reflection of how effective their teaching strategies are for such a young age group. The kindy program is AMAZING!!! My daughter has been on two school excursions this year so far and she had the BEST time! Some of the most experienced staff are educators in the kindy program. Each week my daughter is learning something new. She is already writing, recognising letters and reading. When looking at Schools for prep - her foundations were so great that she got accepted straight away! The playgrounds are safe and fun. They have an inbuilt sprinkler system for children's play, sandpits, slides, treehouses. Facilities are great andthey are constantly looking to improve so always appreciate feedback. It is a very inclusive centre - culture and diversity are welcomed and celebrated. You will find educators from all walks of life. Communication is easy. There is always helpful staff available. You get an update on the kids everyday with photos of what they were up to as well. Your child will be in safe hands at Little Locals Bracken Ridge.
