Okay the centre is okay as childcare goes. The problem I have is they don’t actually try to connect with kids
I as a parent have for 8 years at different centers (Mackay and Brisbane )offered to be Santa for the afternoon. So in June I asked the Center to get outfit and some cheap presents for me to give the kids.
So I turn up today to be Santa they have the suit no chatter from the kids that Santa is arriving. NO PRESENT HOW SAD IS THAT. I asked my girl this morning what happen today she said just school so the kids are not counting down the days until Santa arrive. There is just a single sign (A4) near front door. They did not even tell the kids that Santa is coming.there is no way a child will be happy to see Santa when he has nothing to give them. They could cook and or make things. They have not taken the time to make the kids enjoy the opportunity that I have offered.
This centre just about take you money they don’t connect with kids
They now tell me the X mas party is late December apparently that is because they not allowed to do in November (which is the original date I gave them they not tell me until I turn up today ). In late December we all know we are all off doing other things. So I guess they will have a party no Santa. Not as many kids to get presents for
As I say take money no love and care or enjoyment given
Sad Santa now (They are on naughty list)
I know that Christmas may not be for some family but I assume majority do celebrate it.

My two kids were at Oak Tree for over a year before we had to move to a different city. They both enjoyed every single day there. The centre is nice and clean, and the educators are friendly. Miss Ria the centre manager, is always approachable and helpful.
My son started in the Toddler room. Miss Tarnee and Miss Emily were a big support in helping him settle in. He moved upstairs this year and was in the Senior Kindy room. Before we left, Miss Fatana was his teacher, and she is very lovely.
My daughter is a little bit shy but has made many friends there. The kindergarten teachers, Miss Yuxi and Miss Min, are always responsible and easy to communicate with. My daughter has been coming home talking about the different activities she did and things she has learned. She also likes Miss Jessy because “Miss Jessy always plays with them.”
It’s a shame we had to leave the centre because of relocation. We have good memories there.
