Active Learning at Zunera's Family Day Care

Hello there! I’m so excited to introduce myself! As an experienced early childhood teacher, my passion is creating a warm and loving environment for little ones aged 0 months to 2.5 years. Being a mother myself, I truly understand that each child is unique, with their own interests, strengths, and needs. My goal is to create an inclusive and nurturing space where every child feels special and valued. Here, they can explore and discover the world around them with confidence!

In our cozy playroom, we have a wide variety of fun resources to ignite creativity and learning. From books and blocks to musical instruments, puzzles, cultural dolls, and foam shapes, there’s something for everyone! I believe in a play-based, child-centered approach that lets each child follow their own learning journey, with daily and weekly experiences designed just for them. 

Our backyard is a fantastic adventure zone! It features a shaded area with slide, climbing frames, and a big bark pit—perfect for digging and imaginative play. We also grow seasonal vegetables, herbs, and bush tucker that we love to share with families. The kids have a blast helping to maintain our garden, and our newly planted lemon and bay trees have quickly become favorites among the little ones!

Partnering closely with the families helps me build strong, secure attachments with every child, enabling the child to thrive and giving families peace of mind.
