Welcome to Only About Children Hornsby

Only About Children is a intimate and homely campus that cares for 28 children from ages 18 months to 6 years. Conveniently located at 90 Balmoral Street, the campus is a short walk from Waitara Public School and Hornsby Hospital, a 16-minute walk to Hornsby Station, a 14-minute walk to Waitara Station and has numerous bus stops nearby.  

With a naturally shaded, dedicated outdoor play area – featuring bike tracks and a slide – children enjoy the space to create, explore and lead their own play. Our two age-based indoor spaces have been designed specifically to encourage children’s learning and growth through a focus on safety and natural elements. We love to connect with our local area and community through excursions and activities that feed into children’s interests and learning. At our Hornsby childcare centre these include regular trips to local parks and our nearby Only About Children Wahroonga Campus. 

Enrolment includes:

  • Health Program - with Allied Health support in Nutrition, Vision, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology
  • Excursions and local community activities
  • 2 year school readiness program

Our play-based curriculum allows consistent teaching in small group learning environments featuring:
